Abstract:

　　The development of quantitative single molecule sensors is important for ultrasensitive detection of low abundance biomarkers. While current analytical methodologies are predominantly end-point assays, we tend to develop dynamic single molecule assays to break the limit by thermodynamics. In this lecture, I will introduce the general idea of translating single molecule detection into quantitative analytical tools, and our recently developed technologies for detecting molecular biomarkers at the subfemtomolar concentration level.

　　余辉，2006和2011年在浙江大学生物医学工程与仪器科学学院分别获学士和博士学位，2012-2017年间先后在香港科技大学和美国亚利桑那州立大学从事博士后和助理研究科学家研究工作；2017年至今为上海交通大学特别研究员。主要研究方向为生物传感技术及仪器，生物成像技术等。其课题组近3年在PNAS、ACS Nano、Analytical Chemistry等顶级期刊发表多篇学术论文，并负责基金委国家重大科研仪器研制项目等研究任务。
