12月26日，德国埃尔兰根纽伦堡大学的Dr. Xuewen Chen前来实验室进行学术交流与访问，并为师生们作题为 "Efficient Interfacing of Light and Single Molecules Coupled to Optical Antennas"的学术报告。

报告人简介：
　　Dr. Xuewen Chen is currently with the Max-Planck Institute for the Science of Light (MPL) and Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Erlangen Germany. Dr. Chen received his Bachelor in the Mixed Class of Chu Kochen Honors College in 2003 and Ph.D degree in Optical Engineering in 2008, both from Zhejiang University, China. During his Ph.D studies, Dr. Chen spent two years in the University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on research projects related to organic light-emitting devices. After graduation he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry in Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH, Zurich) until July 2011. Since then he has been working towards Habilitation at MPL and FAU in Erlangen, Germany. His main research interest is studying classical and quantum aspects of light-matter interactions at the nanoscale, including nanoplasmonics, single-molecule spectroscopies, coherent ultrafast phenomena, single-photon sources and related photonic quantum information processing systems.
