应我室低维物理与化学研究部黄伟新教授的邀请，9月15-16日，美国University of California-Riverside的Prof. Dr. Francisco Zaera前来我室进行学术交流与访问，并为我室师生做“Self-assembly synthetic methods for the preparation of heterogeneous catalysts with novel architectures”和“Mechanisms of hydrocarbon conversion catalysis: Regioselectivity, stereoselectivity, and enantioselectivity”的学术报告。
　　Prof. Dr. Francisco Zaera是美国加州大学Riverside分校化学系教授，主要研究方向为表面化学与催化，发表250多篇文章和作160多个邀请报告，美国化学会期刊The Journal of Physical Chemistry的senior editor和多个国际主流期刊的编委会成员，美国科学促进协会会士（American Association for the Advancement of Science Fellow），美国真空学会会士（American Vacuum Society Fellow），美国化学会会士（American Chemical Society Fellow），先后获得北美催化协会 Paul H. Emmett Award，德国亚历山大-洪堡基金会Humboldt Research Award for Senior U.S. Scientist，美国化学会ACS Arthur W. Adamson Award for Distinguished Service in the Advancement of Surface Chemistry。
