 PERSONAL PROFILE

Dr. Huafeng Zhang obtained Ph. D degree from University of Tokyo in Japan in 2004. She went on for her postdoctoral study in National Cancer Institute of NIH from 2004 to 2005, studying protein dynamics. From 2005 to 2010, she worked in the laboratory of Dr. Gregg Semenza in Johns Hopkins University to study hypoxia and cancer development. Her major achievements include multiple highly-cited papers in the field of cancer research. She has published more than 60 research papers that are cited more than 7000 times by peer scientists. She has been a professor in School of Life Sciences USTC.
