To make two-dimensional materials available in real electric devices, it is highly desired to design new properties which are naturally absent in native 2D materials. Here, we will present our recent theoretical studies on the electronic, magnetic, and other properties of graphene-like materials. We will show that functionalization maybe the possible way to tune the properties of 2D materials, which is including stacking, surface modification, and edge decoration. |
