报告介绍
报告摘要:
Teachers of complex scientific information often rely on the use of videos, animations and other visualisations to illustrate a variety of concepts. However few designers or educators are aware of how the layout and presentation of the information can significantly affect student learning. The present talk will showcase a number of award-winning multimedia resources and explain how the design and presentation aligns with research based guidelines such as segmentation, split attention, signalling and so forth. The presenter will also discuss some of his own research on instructional advice and learner control of dynamic visualisations.
