报告摘要：
　　In this talk I will review experimental and theoretical progress on charge and spin-based quantum computing schemes in semiconductor quantum dots. I will focus primarily on single spin and singlet triplet qubits, and discuss initialization, manipulaiton and readout of individual qubits, as well as entanglement of neighbouring qubits. I will also discuss known decoherence and dephasing mechanisms. Finally, I will briefly discuss a new extension to valley-based quantum computing.
