报告介绍 | Prof. Sergey Troyanov obtained a higher education at the Institute of Chemical Technology in Moscow 1961. He then defended his PhD work in 1972 and his doctor’s degree in 1990 at the same university. Currently he is a Professor of Department of Chemistry, Moscow State Lomonosov University, Russia. Prof. Troyanov has several fields of interests, including inorganic and organometallic chemistry; hydrogen bond; X-ray and neutron crystallography; fullerene chemistry. He has wide scientific cooperation with universities of the Netherlands, Italy, Germany and currently also of USTC. He served as the member of the editorial board of the “Journal of Inorganic and General Chemistry” (Zeit. Anorg. Allg. Chem.). He is the author (and co-author) of more than 400 scientific publications. 报告摘要 Investigation of empty higher fullerenes and their derivatives is of high importance towards their intriguing properties and potential applications. This talk will cover our recent studies on several empty higher fullerenes including C94, C90 and C86 etc. The study on C94(CF3)20 and C96(C2F5)12 revealed the cage connectivities in the highest fullerene cages, C94 (isomer 61) and C96 (isomer 145). Based on the crystallographic study of C90Cl32, the connectivity patterns of two C90 isomers were revealed. Finally, the chlorination of C86 surprisingly resulted in the formation of C84Cl32 with nonclassical heptagon-containing fullerene cage via cage shrinkage. |
