报告人简介
Jie Zeng was born in Henan, China. He studied applied chemistry at the University of Science and Technology of China (B.S., 2002) and received a Ph.D. degree in condensed matter physics under the tutelage of Prof. Jianguo Hou and Xiaoping Wang in 2008 (Best Doctoral Dissertation Award from the Chinese Academy of Sciences). He is a recipient of the National Scientific and Technological Innovation Award for the Youth in China (2007). He has been working with Prof. Younan Xia as a postdoctoral fellow since January 2009. His research interests include the synthesis and utilization of novel nanostructures for plasmonics and catalysis.
