Proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) are efficient energy converting devices and have great potentials in alternative energy applications. Nanotechnology plays an important role in this area. In this talk, results from oxygen reduction and small organic fuel oxidation on size and shape controlled Pt-alloy nanocrystals will be discussed。
