Huaping Xu, received his Bachelor degree in 2001 and Ph. D. degree in 2006 in College of Chemistry, Jilin University, China. His Ph. D. supervisor is Prof. Dr. Xi Zhang. During 2004-2005, he worked as an exchange Ph. D. student in University of Leuven, Belgium. In 2006, he joined Prof. David N. Reinhoudt and Prof. Jurriaan Huskens’s group at University of Twente, the Netherlands as a post-doc. Since 2008, he is an assistant professor at the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University, China. He is serving as an editorial assistant for Langmuir Tsinghua office. His current research interests are focused on multi-scale and multi-response molecular assemblies.
